Japanese brothers Rihachi and younger Rizo started a shop selling sundries including sports equipment in Osaka in 1906.
In 1907 they began to sell order-made athletic wear.
The sports equipment and sportswear company once even ventured into manufacturing gliders to commemorate its 30th anniversary back in 1936.
Nowadays the company employs 3,700 employees and has net sales of $1.6 billion USD.
