With many parts of the world experiencing record high temperatures, it is important to be careful.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends that people drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids (without sugar), stay indoors and wear lightweight clothing during a heat wave.
If you must go out in the heat, the CDC advises you to wear a hat, rest in shady areas and go outside in the early morning or evening.
