He was 31 years old when he invented the game of basketball to keep the athletes indoor during the winters in 1891.
The sport was met with great enthusiasm and it was included in the Olympic Games in 1936.
NBA was formed thirteen years later in 1949 and grew to a multibillion dollar business by the end of the century.
