He owns a juice and superfoods SunLife Organics bar chain which has spread to several locations in Los Angeles.
But it wasn’t always like this.
In 2003, when he was 33 years old, he was homeless living on the streets of Skid Row, and almost died from heroin and cocaine overdose.
Skid Row is an area in downtown Los Angeles where the largest number of homeless people live on the street.
