A section of eastern Greenland has become an island.
The island is called Warming Island and was discovered by American explorer Dennis Schmitt.
The island formed after a giant ice sheet melted.
The discovery of the island is further proof that global warming exists, scientists believe.
Maps of Greenland will have to be remade to show the new island.
