How about skiing in Pakistan?
The town of Malam Jabba is the location of Pakistan’s only ski school where people can learn to downhill ski.
The school has only a few skies. But people are so eager to learn to ski that they use homemade ones which are made out of wooden planks and old shoes nailed into them.
The resort was reopened in 2009 after Taliban, which banned skiing there, had left the area.
