For thousands of years, people have known about the health benefits of turmeric, an herb that is used in the cuisines of many countries.
In India, it is used not only in cooking but also as a
way to reduce fevers and to treat asthma.
New studies have shown that turmeric may help in the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
A small amount of turmeric – just 1/4 of a teaspoon – every day was found to help improve a person’s memory.
