In Australia kids use „walking buses“ to travel to school.
A walking bus is a form of transport using feet instead of wheels.
There are always at least two adults, one of them in the front and the other one at the end of the group of pupils.
The buses have their bus stops and pick-up times.
Isn’t it a fun, healthy and sustainable way of travelling?
WORDS
wheel: a circular frame used in vehicles or machinery.
pupil: a small learner, student.
pick-up time: the agreed date and time for the collection of something or somebody.
