If you live in a big city then you don’t have to be told that space is limited and that real estate prices are extortionately high.
Clearly this is a big problem for young and low-income people who have difficulty affording life in a large metropolitan area.
Some developers are looking into a possible solution to this problem: microapartments, also known as microflats or apodments.
These are very small properties, some as small as 15 square meters (or less), located in urban areas and include small bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
Microapartments can now be found in several major cities, such as Hong Kong, London, New York and Vancouver.
