If you live abroad, then one of the first things you miss is the food from your native country.

For example, Americans living in a foreign country miss such items as peanut butter and root beer, a sweet non-alcoholic drink.

People from the United Kingdom, on the other hand, might miss Marmite, a food made from yeast extract that is spread on bread.

And a Canadian might miss Nanaimo bars, a dessert with chocolate and custard.

WORDS
abroad: in a foreign country.
miss: to no longer have something.
