TTC Sliač, started in 2011, is an amateur table tennis club located in the spa town of Sliač, Slovakia.
In 2016, it joined the regional table tennis league.
Two years ago, the club had to deal with a difficult situation when its top players abandoned the club, either for better clubs or for work reasons, and sadly, its best player died unexpectedly.
The club’s president decided to give a chance to the players who ranked in the bottom positions, and were given only rare opportunities to play beforehand. He anticipated the club would finish last, which proved to be the reality.
This season, however, to everyone’s astonishment, but the team members themselves, the same players, achieved great success by finally occupying sixth place out of 12 teams.
