Practise makes perfect

If you wish to become  good at an activity then you have to keep repeating that activity over and over.
The more you practise something, the better you are at it.

Origin: this proverb was taken from the Latin version “Uses promto facis (Uses makes perfect)” and it was first used back in the 1550s.
