Zdeno Chara, or Big Z as he is called in the ice hockey world, was captain of the Boston Bruins team.

He was also  the tallest player in the league and probably the strongest one, too.

He has recently visited several orphanages and institutions assisting people with  disabilities in his homeland of Slovakia and gave hundreds of sports shoes to their residents.

“I was raised to be humble and grateful, for as little as I had or as much as I have, and to always care for others through my actions and not just words. The truth is, to give makes me happier than to get.” Zdeno Chara
