History of the brand Škoda, originally a Czech car manufacturing company, started with two guys, Laurin and Klement.
But these two original founders did not begin with manufacturing cars.
It all started with Klement who had a good reason to complain about shoddy workmanship on his new bicycle.
The producer refused to fix the bike which prompted Klement to team up with Laurin and they began to make and sell push bikes.
One of the most interesting facts about Škoda is that the most expensive car ever built was a cake replica for a TV commercial which cost almost £ 500,000.
