A former Turkish footballer has begun a new sporting career at an age when other professional sportsmen usually retire.
Ilhan Mansiz, 38, formed a figure skating pair with Slovakian skater Olga Bestandigova. In September 2013, they made their debut in Oberstdorf, Germany, where they qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
Mansiz scored two memorable goals during the third place playoff of the 2002 World Cup.
